The Fabspeed Valved Center exit Conversion Cat-Back Exhaust System is the ULTIMATE exhaust solution for the C8 Stingray or E-Ray. It provides the same screaming sound that their Supersport X-Pipe exhaust has while also allowing the driver to quite the exhaust down using the factory exhaust loudness settings. It’s totally plug-and-play with the factory exhaust valve system. Retaining ALL drive modes, and Z-mode abilities. 

Their design process started with 3D scanning the entire OEM exhaust system using their CREAFORM 700 Handscan so that they could make a complete Solidworks 3D model of the exhaust. They then designed the exhaust and fixtures using that model so that the exhaust fit perfectly to OEM standards. After multiple revisions for sound and dyno testing they decided to use their signature cast Titanium X-Pipe to tie the two cylinder banks together for exhaust scavenging and to defeat resonance. The valves are mounted to CNC’d plates that resist heat and keep the electronics working under extreme conditions. The piping is mandrel bent from Titanium, and they use ultra high temp heat wrapping to keep temps in the engine bay down.

SOUND:

This incredibly versatile exhaust is able to go from tame cruiser, to thoroughbred race car with the press of a button. With the car set to the loud exhaust mode (valves open), you’ll be treated to a much more authoritative rumble at idle, and their signature X-pipe bringing out the a high pitched wail that, dare they say, exceeds that of the Ferrari 458. With the Stingray or E-Ray set to quite mode (valves closed), it’s totally drone free and you can easily have a conversation in the cabin just like the OEM exhaust.
